Mechanical and Electrical Engineer
Location: West Bromwich, UK
A leading glass manufacturer and processing company supplying the UK is on the lookout for a talented Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, test, and commission electrical installations
- Diagnose and correct electrical faults
- Perform planned preventative maintenance
- Handle unscheduled maintenance as required
Qualifications:
- Electrical qualification: C&G Level 3 Electrical Installation or HND Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in English: IELTS B1 (or equivalent, if non-UK)
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and basic installations
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
- Proficient in basic mechanical tasks, including machining, welding, plumbing, and greasing
- Knowledge of PLCs and basic software understanding

Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, day hours
- Overtime available (including Saturdays and for unplanned maintenance)
