This is a brand-new opportunity with a unique public sector organisation in London looking to revamp their procurement function.

Reporting directly into the board, you will develop and implement robust procurement strategies, collaborating with a variety of different individuals and teams to understand their procurement needs and requirements and provide guidance on procurement policies and procedures.  You will be an experienced strategic procurement practitioner, with the proven ability to engage effectively with a diverse stakeholder group, building trust, influencing, and driving forward change in line with best practice procurement and the organisation’s goals.  You’ll have broad procurement experience across the public sector, and you’ll be up to date with the upcoming changes in legislation which come into effect on 26th October.

This is a home-based role, but with some flexibility needed for trips into the office in central London (Westminster) once or twice a month and elsewhere as required.  All travel expenses will be covered as you will be on a remote working contract.  The role also requires a basic DBS check.
