Structural CAD Technician

Our client is a reputable engineering consultancy who are highly successful in the East of England and enjoy an enviable reputation.

Their office is based on the outskirts of Cambridge, within easy commutable distance of the City centre.

Their buildings structures team has an opportunity for a conscientious and motivated individual to join as a Structural CAD Technician. You will work within a dynamic team on exciting and challenging projects.

Example of some responsibilities of a Structural CAD Technician:

  • Prepare buildings structures drawings with accuracy and integrity
  • Prepare 3D CAD models
  • Assist with preparing project documentation
  • Support engineering team

The successful Structural CAD Technician will be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, with Revit skills being an advantage (training will be provided if required).

Your previous experience should include steel and concrete building structures and you will possess excellent analytical skills.

As a Structural CAD Technician you will have worked within an engineering consultancy for at least 4 years, after having gained a degree or HNC/HND in construction and built environment.
