MIG/TIG Welder

Our client based in Elland, Halifax are looking to recruit a MIG&TIG welder on a temporary ongoing basis, there is also a possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate. The main purpose of the role will be to weld their products using MIG / TIG method, assisting their team to help maintain a smooth production process.
THE ROLE:
- MIG Welding to a high standard
- TIG Welding experience would be advantageous but not essential
- Production style welding, working in own welding booth
- Producing batch work
- Reporting to weld supervisor.
- Fabricate and weld components as per technical drawings.
- Single and multi runs.
- Fast paced environment.
- Use of hand tools
- Working as part of a team
THE CANDIDATE:
- Must be able to MIG and TIG weld, experience is essential
- Must have good fabrication knowledge
- Be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment
- Experience in thin gauge materials(1mm-6mm)
THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:
- £12.07 per hour
- 7:00 - 17:15 Monday to Thursday, Fridays paid at time and one half
- Free car parking
- Temporary ongoing contract, high chance of contract but not guaranteed
