Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? Tradewind is excited to announce fantastic opportunities for SEN Teaching Assistants to join a dynamic SEN school in Warrington. We have both full-time and part-time positions available starting this September.

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant, Location: Warrington, Cheshire, Start Date: September
Employment Type: Full-time and Part-time roles available

Role Overview: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Work alongside the class teacher to support the educational and developmental needs of students with special educational needs.
  • Provide tailored support to individual students and small groups.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Support students' social, emotional, and academic growth.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and creativity in addressing students' unique needs.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
