InstaStaff are currently recruiting for Delivery Driver - 7.5 tonne, to join a distribution and retail company, you will be working out of the distribution centre in Wednesbury and covering the West Midlands with your daily delivery.

You will be required to deliver and sometimes install American Fridge Freezers, Washing Machines, Tumble Dryers, Dishwashers, TVs, Microwaves, and a variety of other products. There will be some heavy lifting and you will have a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries.

The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon.

The role is on a 12-week temp – perm basis, this is a fantastic opportunity for you to secure a job with a well-established, reputable company, they will invest in you, and in return they are looking for hardworking, reliable and honest people to join their team.

A DBS check will be required for this role.

The duties of the Delivery Driver - 7.5 tonne include:

• Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving role
• Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
• Installing a range of various products for our customers
• Making every customer encounter memorable. Yes, you will need to love driving and being on the road, but you will need to love helping customers too.
• Following a delivery route
• Pre calling customers before arrival
• Filling in paperwork as and when required
• Removing all packaging from each delivery

The ideal Delivery Driver - 7.5 tonne will have:

• Experience within a similar role
• A full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than six penalty points
• CPC card (and Ideally) Tachograph card
• A passion for delivering great customer service
• The ability to handle heavy goods
• A clean DBS

The hours of work for the Delivery Driver - 7.5 tonne are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday – Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 6.45am – 6.15pm, if the deliveries are completed early, you will finish early, as long as no one else needs support.

The salary for the Delivery Driver - 7.5 tonne will be £30,420 per annum, £13.00 per hour, on a 12-week temp to perm basis.
