TeacherActive is proud to partner with a fantastic SEND provision based in Erdington. The school follows a varied curriculum to suit the needs of the young people. Underpinning this, is the consistent teaching of people skills, and guidance to assist children develop their social, emotional, and personal abilities. The school is looking to take on a permanent SEND Teacher from September on a full-time basis on a temp to perm contract.

The successful Inclusion Leader *Behaviour and Attitudes or Personal Development* will be working with 11–19 year-olds. Makaton, PECs, engagement curriculum experience required. Most of the young people are diagnosed with either Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD.

The successful Inclusion Leader *Behaviour and Attitudes or Personal Development* will have:

-          Previous experience within Pastoral Support / SENDCo  

-          Experience teaching Makaton, PECs, engagement curriculum

-          Experience working with children and young people with additional needs, specifically ASD, SLD, PMLD, ADD, ADHD

-          Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
