We are currently looking for a Setting Out Engineer/Site Engineering for a temp to perm role, starting at a job in Hammersmith.

Probation period would be 13 weeks for the client to offer a full time position if succefull

Reporting to the Contracts/ Site Manager you will be responsible for the effective implementation of the planned design, providing all setting out on site to ensure that work progresses on time and that all checks are carried out on a regular basis.

Duties:

  • Accurate setting out 7 levelling of the works in accordance with drawings/specifications
  • Ensure all drawings & Information relating to your work are accurate & up to date.
  • Review Architect/Engineering/Services/Sub-Contractor drawings to ensure co-ordination & integration.
  • Quality control
  • Carry out check on works.

Experience:

  • 3 Years recent relevant experience as Site Engineer
  • Understanding of the construction process
  • Experience in Autocad.
  • Experience in carrying out Health & Safety Assessments/Inspections
  • A Degree or HND/HNC/BTEC in Building Engineering, Civil/Construction Engineering or Construction
  • CSR or CSCS Card
  • Excellent written & oral skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Driving Licence

Rate: £230-£300 per day

Hours: 8 to 10 hours per day with overtime available.
