Speech Language Therapist Paediatrics

Speech and language duties will include:

1. Carry out an initial speech and language therapy assessment
2. Direct weekly therapy - 1 hour a week (38 weeks per year)
3. Write a report continuing to the annual review - 2 hours a year
4. Attendance at MDT meetings - 1.5 hour per term

Salary: £55/h (Day shifts)

What you'll need as a Speech Language Therapist Paediatrics - Full or Part Time:

• Specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications
• Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
• Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
• HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
• 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
• Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
• The right to work in the UK
