What's the role involve?

You are no doubt an accomplished Design Manager so we won't teach you suck eggs and list what your role will be. Obviously you will oversee the entire design process, reviewing land opportunities, providing planning support and value engineering but what you will need is experience of working in a Design / Technical team in a residential house-builder, ideally having held a manager role in the past. You will be skilled in using AutoCAD and have a detailed knowledge of the NHBC standards and Building Regulations. You will also be commercially minded, ambitious but approachable and friendly.
