Fit Out UK, are a leading interior fit out contractor dominating the Retail, Leisure, Commercial & Residential sectors nationwide.

Expanding alongside our thriving business, we're on the hunt for an adept Health & Safety Advisor to join the business, based in our HQ in North West London (NW10).

As the H&S Advisor you'll undertake a spectrum of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Provision administrative support to coordinate the Health and Safety team’s activities, including preparation of reports, plans, materials for meetings and presentations and other aspects of department work
  • Support site teams with regards to reviewing contractors' RAMS and submitted health and safety documentation
  • Delivery of site induction, RAMS briefings and toolbox talks for new starters and existing workers
  • Monitoring the company training matrix, ensuring that it is kept up to date and all refresher training is completed accordingly
  • Administration of the various reporting platforms and training portals
  • Completion of site/premises inspection and production of relevant reports
  • Project documentation filling, ensure that necessary H&S information is collated and readily available

What we expect from our ideal H&S Advisor:

  • Very good IT and communication skills are essential.
  • Experience in using MS package is required.
  • An ideal candidate will have worked in a construction or manufacturing environment
  • Have undertaken some CITB (SMSTS or SSSTS), IOSH, or NEBOSH training or working towards.
