About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2/KS1 Teacher to join our vibrant Catholic school community in the B43 Great Barr area. This is a long-term role with full class responsibilities, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on the educational journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities of a Year 2/KS1 Teacher:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of Year 2 students.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the school's academic standards and ethos.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure all pupils achieve their full potential.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the spiritual, moral, and social development of each child.
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and colleagues to support student learning and well-being.
• Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements of a Year 2/KS1 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Year 2 is highly desirable, although we warmly welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to the ethos and values of our Catholic school.
• Ability to commute to and from the school in the B43 Great Barr area.
