Job Description

Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity which has become available working as a Family Contact Worker with Manchester City Council.

Manchester City Council are currently looking for someone who is happy to work 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise family time with looked after children and their families
  • Transport children to and from where required (own car required)
  • Complete observations of family time
  • Offer guidance and support to families

Requirements

  • Experience working with children and families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving license and access to own car
  • Ability to complete observations and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

  • Level 3 Diploma for Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent Or, willingness to work towards this qualification
