Shift Patterns: Week 1: Monday 8am - 11am Wednesday 8am - 10am Friday 08.00-10.00, 15.30-22.00

Week 2: Monday 8am - 11am Wednesday 8am - 10am Friday 08.00-10.00, 15.30-22.00, Sunday 8.30am-14.30pm

A Full UK driving licence is essential for this role to enable you to drive our client's automatic car.

This post is only open to female staff only as it involves personal care; Occupational Requirement (Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9 Part I).

We have a fabulous role for a Support Worker to provide support to our client with Autism, moderate learning delay with challenging behaviours who can express herself verbally with familiar people. Our client has her own vehicle, so a full UK drivers’ licence is essential to drive an automatic car.

Your role as Support Worker will require you to take direction with all elements of daily living, so assisting with food and drink, toileting needs, medication, and finances. Continuity and routine are extremely important, so someone who is dedicated, and understanding will really help them live a meaningful and fulfilled life.

You will accompany our client to the day centre that they visit several times a week, outings to discos, shows, karaoke and family visits.

If you are an experienced Support Worker who is committed, caring and enthusiastic then this role is made for you.

You will need some experience …

To apply for this role, you will need to have at least 1 year’s UK experience in the care sector, supporting individual(s) with Autism and learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. 

PMVA trained staff essential. 

A UK driving license is essential.
