Salary up to £55,000 + 6,825k car allowance + bonus + fantastic company benefits (such as 7.5% pension)

  • Superb client side opportunity to join this leading, Energy & Utility giant

Reporting into the Health, Safety & Quality Manager with activities and workloads driven by the Head of National Accounts Delivery.

The role will be an integral part of their mission to maintain top-tier project delivery standards.

You will be a proactive and results oriented HSEQ advisor to collaborate with across all phases of project execution, from Pre-Sales Consultation to Project Completion and H&S File Handovers.

This dynamic role calls for an individual equally adept at providing support from the office or on-site. Working in a variety of environments, embracing both desk-based responsibilities and site work. There will be a need to travel across the UK for short durations as work and projects dictate, to support our project management teams and cater to the needs of our National Account UK-based clients.

You will thrive on ensuring the highest safety standards are met throughout project lifecycles. Your passion for safety excellence will be instrumental in fostering continuous improvement and introducing innovative practices across our project delivery teams.

The duties will include:

Giving proactive support and management for the HSE requirements on all aspects of project delivery from pre-sales to handover.

Undertake HSEQ inspections & Audits.

Attending Project Management & Engineer meetings and reporting on H&S performance.

Offering pragmatic advice on various aspects of Health& Safety to the wider delivery team.

  • You will have the following skills, experience & qualifications:

NEBOSH Level 6 qualification or equivalent.

NEBOSH Construction H&S

Environmental management qualification or relevant experience.

Extensive experience within construction & building maintenance environments.

Effective communicator with strong presentation and report writing skills.

Client facing experience.

UK-wide travel will be an expectation of the roll.

Understanding of Management System Standards (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001).

Ability to work to and meet tight deadlines.

Ability to liaise with staff and operatives at all levels.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages.

CSCS Safety Professional card.

High quality standards, with a strong attention to detail.

Ability to work mix working in the office, at home and on customer sites as works dictate.

A proactive and adaptive approach to ensure safety measures identified are reasonable and practicable to the works being executed.
