Loom Talent Limited have been exclusively appointed by a rapidly growing, well-known, 3PL business due to open a key DC in their growing network, based in Bury St. Edmunds. 

Our client operates in the 3PL space for multiple prestigious brands across the Retail, E-Commerce & Wholesale sectors, and they are committed to maintaining the highest standards of service, safety, and overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

People-Centric Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated team to reach their full potential. Your focus on the well-being and development of your staff will be the cornerstone of success whilst having a continuous improvement mindset.

Health & Safety: Uphold rigorous health and safety standards, fostering a culture of safety awareness throughout the warehouse and distribution arm of the business.

Performance Metrics: Continue to evolve the organisational approach to KPI’s, whilst ensuring existing and new site standardisation.

Supply Chain Excellence: Oversee all aspects of UK warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfilment and quality control.

WMS Expertise: Utilise your experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Business Systems to drive operational efficiency. Familiarity with WMS & ERP implementations is a definite plus.

Process Optimisation: Continuously identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve productivity while ensuring quality and accuracy.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the seamless flow of goods from the warehouse to the end customer.

Key Candidate Requirements:

• Have a Logistics Distribution & Supply Chain background - Essential.
• Have a minimum of 2+ years’ experience at a Warehouse Team Leader / Section Leader, Supervisor or Shift Manager level - Essential. 
• Have managed teams beyond 15+ employees through managerial reports - Essential.
• Lean Six Sigma / Prince2 Qualifications - Advantageous.
• Knowledge of WMS systems - Essential.
• Exceptional people management skills - Essential.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities - Essential.
• Commutable to Bury. St. Edmunds - Essential.

Salary & Benefits Package:

• Salary - £28,000 to £32,000
• Annual leave / Holiday entitlements.
