Shift Pattern:  Between 08:00 and 18:00 with the flexibility to meet the needs of the business

What you will be doing

Planning and managing the full lifecycle of all IT assets. The role is required to help customers maximise value, control costs, manage risks, and support decision-making related to the purchase, re-use, retirement, and disposal of IT assets. 

  • Delivery of a single standardised Asset Management Practice including a single set of methods and procedures for a reliable inventory (CMDB) for all Customer IT Assets ensuring it is governed and managed efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including hardware and software, throughout their lifecycle ensuring stock levels meet demand and in compliance with licensing agreements
  • Coordinate with Finance, Information Security, and Legal to ensure timely acquisition and disposal of IT assets
  • Monitor the quality and effectiveness of the team
  • Provide standard and ad hoc reporting of software and hardware inventory, equipment inventory and other ad hoc reporting of hardware and software estates
  • Coordinate with multiple internal teams to ensure all asset types meet the specific standards
  • Identify areas to increase efficiency in respective end to end processes
  • Staying updated on best practice and driving service improvements across the asset management function
  • Supporting the onboarding of new customers/ assets alongside transition
  • Provide support for audits and inventory management, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records

You will ideally have

  • IT Life-Cycle Management
  • Demonstrational experience in Asset Management (e.g. SAM, ITIL)
  • ServiceNow knowledge / experience
  • ITIL v4 Foundation Certification
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Excellent time management and work ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A good understanding of all aspects of JML and kit swap activity
  • Knowledge of break/fix activity
