Overview: Thalia Waste Management is urgently seeking a professional, experienced Anaerobic Digestion (AD) Specialist to join our team on a short-term contract basis. This position is based at our Knaresborough site and requires an individual with strong expertise in AD processes. The role does not involve management responsibilities but demands a deep understanding of anaerobic digestion operations to support our ongoing projects and site activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice and support on anaerobic digestion processes.
• Assist in the completion of core induction training and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure the efficient and effective operation of AD systems.
• Monitor and report on AD performance metrics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to AD operations.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in anaerobic digestion operations.
• Strong technical background in AD processes.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
