About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with expertise in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The successful candidate will work closely with our SENCO and teaching staff to provide tailored support and interventions that enable our students with ASD to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is essential.

• Strong understanding of ASD and strategies for supporting children with additional needs.

• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to working with children.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans for students with ASD.

• Providing one-on-one support and small group interventions as needed.

• Supporting the social and emotional development of students with ASD.

• Collaborating with classroom teachers to differentiate lessons and materials.

• Monitoring and recording student progress, and reporting to the SENCO and parents/carers.
