This school provides a high standard of education and focuses on students ages 11 to 16 with ASC, MLD, and SLD needs. They provide them with a daily structure and routine to ensure the best learning environment for their individual needs.

The school is looking for a determined long-term Level 2 Teaching Assistant/TA with the potential of a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistant will be confident and adaptable in working Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 helping them to meet their goals and giving them 1 to 1 support. The applicant would also have to be well equipped to deal with challenging behaviours and work closely with Teachers to support the classroom.

 The successful Level 2 Teaching Assistant will have the following:

• Experience working with ASC, SLD, and MLD
• Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
• A calm, patient, and caring personality
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
• Excellent classroom management
