Salary/Rate:
£57,000 - £60,000/annum + Car allowance

Local Developer seeking an experienced Site Manager to manage and successfully deliver an 89-unit traditional build project in the Southwest. As no2 across the project, you will be working under the Project Manager to successfully deliver an £18M housing development. A carpentry or brickie background is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange and manage on-site workforce and subcontractors
  • Manage the delivery of 89 traditional build units
  • Resolve any issues or conflict that arise on site through the duration of the project
  • Coordinate with Project Manager and subcontractors on material, plant, and labour
  • Liaise with Quantity Surveyors and Estimators on cost matters
  • Support Project Managers with on-time, within budget, and high standard delivery of project
  • Maintain compliance regarding health and safety records, and attend site safety meetings

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualification in a trade, construction or site management
  • SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS Card required
  • Previous Site Management experience on residential/housing projects
  • Knowledge and experience in managing traditional build projects
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of residential projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of health & safety policies and procedures
