Our client, a global fashion company with offices in the UK, is looking for a Fully Qualified Management Accountant to work in their dynamic office in London Fitzrovia office.

The role involves travel within the UK and Europe. Language skills in German is an advantage, but not a must.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Management Accounting:

Liaise with sales, sourcing and operations teams. Prepare sales & margin reports and sales forecasts.

Maintaining costing sheets of products.

Preparation of weekly purchase order log.

Review periodical stock reports, monitor optimum and efficient use of stocks and warehouses.

Financial Accounting:

Assist FC with preparation of monthly/quarterly accounts, compliance with bank and brand owners.

Variance analysis of operating expenses and take corrective action in liaison with functional managers.

Preparation of weekly /quarterly cash flow statements.

The scope of the roles and responsibilities may expand or be varied dependent on the needs of the company’s business to adapt to changing market conditions

Required Skills and Experience:

Qualification: Fully qualified CA or CIMA or ACCA.

Minimum 3-5 years including management/financial accounting in commercial or with a firm of

chartered accountants.

Experience in using SAGE 200 or equivalent accounting package.

Experience in using ERP System, Excel (advanced).

Experience in working to strict deadlines, analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate with non-financial managers.

Experience in fashion wholesale will be a huge advantage, but not necessary.
