Logistics Operator / Planner

OLG Recruitment are currently looking for two Logistics Operators / Planners for our client, a provider of maritime shipping services for their new 4PL Digital Control Tower services. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Immingham/Killingholme or surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar logistics/shipping role and be familiar with import/export operations. Self-motivated, energetic and ambitious and capable of working in a start-up operation. The anticipated start date is around August 2024.
Skills & Requirements:
- 1 years experience working in a shipping/logistics business
- Dedicated to providing excellent customer service
- Knowledge of transport/shipping planning
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
- Planning and arrangement for the arrival and departure of trailers via a digital platform
- Customer service
- Dealing with trailer service providers staff and operations planners
- Transport planning - collection and delivery of freight
- Administration and office support
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
