Commercial Gas Engineer – Yorkshire - £65k
Are you an experienced Gas Engineer looking for a permanent position?
Our client, an outstanding electrical and mechanical services company, with an un-rivalled reputation in customer service, are looking to add to their team.
Predominantly working within your local area, with occasional contracts away, you will be working on both installation and maintenance jobs within plant rooms on boilers, water heaters etc, within various types of commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair gas appliances in various types of buildings, including planned maintenance and reactive callouts
- Complete installs of gas appliances (boilers, water heaters, etc)
- Complete tightness testing and purging when required (UP1a & UP1)
- Surveying and providing quote information
- Completing daily paperwork via Job Logic app (job sheets, gas certificates)
Requirements:
- Great customer skills dealing with main clients, scheme managers, and elderly tenants
- Full UK driving license
- Commercial gas qualifications (training provided for the right candidate to widen scope)
- Ability to complete servicing and breakdown of gas appliances and equipment within a plant room
- Ability to install gas appliances
- CSCS Skills card preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
In return for your efforts, you will enjoy:
- Starting salary of £38,500 plus overtime. Overtime paid at 1.5 hours. Anticipated yearly earnings of £65k to £70k
