Overview:

Market leading, Sheffield based manufacturer of precision engineered component assemblies for highly regulated industries is looking to recruit a Production Engineer. In this role you will play a crucial role in the company by leveraging your skills and expertise in the areas of Process Optimisation, Driving Innovation and Cost Reduction.

The Role:

• Utilise CADCAM software to streamline manufacturing processes, reducing cycle times, minimizing waste, and increasing overall efficiency.
• Jig & fixtures design and tooling development
• Work with the Process & CI Engineers to specify and commission & validate capital equipment.
• Analyse factory flow to ensure maximum optimisation of people and equipment.
• Identify and assess new developments in technology, ensuring that the company remains competitive, agile, and capable of meeting the ever-evolving demands of the market.

The Person:

• HND/ HNC in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Lean / continuous improvement knowledge and experience.
• Competent CAD-CAM user, able to produce and amend engineering drawings.
