On offer is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior/Principal Design engineer to join an expanding company who are currently working on multiple prestigious, complex and in-depth projects for Electrical Substation build and refurbishments working with 5 key contractors on the national grid framework.

As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior/Principal Design Engineer to join their highly professional team. Due to the extensive growth of this company progression will be available for any candidates who perform well within the company.

In this role the successful candidate will be based in the Derby, experienced in the design and management of projects from concept to completion. As a Senior Design engineer your role is vital in ensuring the success of the designs as well as management over a small team, which will add to the company's continued growth. You will require knowledge of the design of steel and RC works and will be working on a range of projects from power generation to water treatment infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have led or helped lead teams working with TEDDS and CAD packages. This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate to lead a team and progress their career within an expanding company who will invest in your ongoing development.

The role:
* Senior/Principal Design Engineer
*Leading the design of Substations - Steel and concrete structures
*Project Management

The Person:
* MICE or MIStructE
* Principal - Must be a Chartered Engineer
*Knowledge and experience of design to BSEN1990-1999
*Use of TEDDS and CAD Software
*Keen to continue your professional development
