An award-winning client of mine is currently seeking several Electrician to join the phenomenal team across south London to carry out work in domestic and commercial properties.

Due to expansion and growth, there is a fantastic opportunity for an electrician to join. This role is within the social housing reactive maintenance sector covering testing & repairs to various domestic and commercial properties. These positions are perm and you will be provided with a van, fuel card, pensions, holiday.

You will be responsible for various duties which include:

• Rewiring
• Conduct electrical installations, planned maintenance and responsive repairs to the best standards.
• Fault finding and making all electrical systems safe.
• Monitoring and maintaining all equipment provided by my client at all times.
• Identifying hazards, defects and repair or replace any wires.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment to locate the cause of the problem and rectify.
• Use your own initiative.
• To undertake any urgent tasks if they arise and assist other staff within the team.
• To advise and refer any problems to your supervisor or manager on whether any equipment could be hazardous with continuous operations.
• Adapt to other duties that may be reasonably requested by your line manager or supervisor.

   To be considered you must have.

• Clean DBS
• Full UK Driving Licence (6 points minimum)
• Extensive knowledge and experience working in social housing and Reactive maintenance.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• City & Guilds Level 2 –Electrical
• City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Inspection & Testing, 2391
• City & Guilds Electrical Installation 236, Part 1, 2 & 3
