StaffCo Direct is actively recruiting for Class 1 drivers ( tramping ) for a company based in Nottingham.

We are looking for highly motivated qualified drivers with a valid licenses, who can take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s day-to-day operation AM Start times around 06:00am start Mondays and come back on Friday.

Remuneration:

Monday to Friday - £17.93

*Please note that the above rates include optional upfront holiday payment*

Responsibilities:

• This will involve delivering curtainside or box trailers nationwide.
• All work is trunking and shifts are planned to be 12 hours (some of this time may be on standby at the yard.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
• Start times are 06:00  daily with weekend work available each weekend.
• Flexible about tramping as this is a huge requirement from the client.

Experience/Skills & Competencies:

• HGV1/ LGV1 UK-issued License is required (Must have license for at least 12 months)
• Current and Valid CPC and Digi Tacho
• No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes)
• Experience driving container loaded trailers
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
• Great communication skills
• Professional attitude
