Morson are currently recruiting for Commissioning Engineers for a long term project based in Studley, Warwickshire must have experience working within the water sector.

Reporting to the Commissioning Manager, the Commissioning Engineer has the following role and responsibilities:
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
Key areas of responsibility include:
• Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ)
o Demonstrating safety excellence by ensuring KPI and KPM measurements are No.1 in the STW region
o Reviewing supply chain performance against our clients KPIs and KPMs
o Implementing and refreshing initiatives to improve behaviours relating to SHEQ
• General Management
o To liaise with design and suppliers / sub-contractors to ensure that equipment is fully set up and commissioned at each project
o Ensure technical input and expertise is best utilised
o Ensures equipment is FAT tested and snag free prior to arrival on site
o Timely production of regular reports to senior managers.
o Responsible for input into the overall programme.
o Ensure capture of installation, testing and commissioning data
o Responsible for quality and snag free installation and commissioning
• Client Facing
o Input into Early Contractor Involvement process through site surveys of systems and equipment
o Building and maintaining relationships within the Client organisation, particularly Service Delivery
o Inputting to reports and other briefings to client management
o Liaison with the STW representatives from Asset Creation (AC) and Service Delivery (SD) on an ongoing basis
o Liaison with the STW SAP for the project
o Active participation in the Client’s Site COMM Cells
o Carrying out training of the clients operational staff
• Technical
o Knowledge and experience of the engineering discipline appropriate with the project scope
o Full project cycle commissioning input (from outline design to final commissioning and handover)
o Able to write commissioning plans
o Able to write commissioning procedures
o Able to carry out hands on commissioning activities
o Electrical conversant to 17th or any subsequent edition of the Electrical Regulations
o Demonstrated ability to understand the water and waste water treatment processes as a whole and commission in a structured manner
o FAT testing and management of close out of defects found
o Demonstrated ability to carry out trouble shooting
o Management of Process / M&E through design refinement and scope change
o Review electrical and/or mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, FDS documents, P&I documents and instigate required design change as and when necessary
o Co-ordination of project commissioning activities and close liaison with any 3rd party Commissioning Engineer ensuring successful commissioning.
o Manage Process / M&E Design and Scope Changes
