As a Workshop Engineer, you'll be at the heart of the repair workshop, dedicated to the refurbishment and repair of information systems and hardware. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our systems operate flawlessly, providing essential services to customers.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting repairs and refurbishments to component level using through-hole and surface-mount device component replacement technology.
• Providing quotations for chargeable repairs and managing associated administration tasks.
• Working within agreed timescales for fault analysis and repair.
• Adhering to ISO Standards (9001 & 27001) for quality assurance.
• Conducting monthly stock audits and assisting in stock control and logistics.
• Supporting Field Service engineers on call-outs, including on-site installations and system monitoring.

Requirements:

• Enthusiasm and interest in board-level electronics.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Previous experience in electronics or repair center environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with computer systems and electronics.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Valid UK/EU driving license.
