Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shuttering Carpenter to join our team in Oswestry. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to start immediately and work with a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and dismantle formwork for concrete structures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
- Install reinforcement materials and pour concrete into formwork.
- Ensure all formwork structures comply with safety regulations and standards.
- Operate various tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Blue CSCS Card for Formwork.
- Must possess an IPAF or MEWP card.
- Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
