The Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Art and Design Teacher to inspire and engage our Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The successful candidate will have full teaching responsibilities, including planning, delivering, and assessing the curriculum. You will be joining a supportive department with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art and Design lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Create a stimulating and creative classroom environment.
Develop and implement schemes of work in line with the National Curriculum.
Provide constructive feedback to students and support their artistic growth.
Participate in departmental meetings, parent evenings, and whole-school events.
Maintain high standards of health and safety in the classroom and during practical activities.
Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Proven experience teaching Art and Design at Key Stage 3 and 4 in the UK.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art and Design.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
