Role Overview

As an HR Consultant, you will be instrumental in providing top-notch HR advice and support. You will step in for the Head of HR Consulting as needed. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can juggle multiple responsibilities and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

HR Service Delivery:

  • Assist clients on-site with redundancy programs, employee relations issues, and TUPE matters.
  • Support the HR Advice Line, ensuring accurate and timely advice.
  • Provide expert HR guidance on employee relations over phone and email.
  • Chair or support formal meetings for clients.
  • Deliver HR training and update client policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company governance.
  • Support client recruitment efforts and provide detailed reports.

Business Relations and Development:

  • Conduct regular client review meetings and identify new business opportunities.
  • Support new client on-boarding.

Team Management:

  • Mentor Trainee HR Advisors and HR Advisors.
  • Ensure legal compliance and high standards in all advice provided.
  • Serve as a point of contact for team questions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualifications: CIPD qualified, graduate calibre
  • Experience: Supervision experience, handling complex HR issues, strong UK employment law knowledge, and experience across various business sectors
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise effectively
