Position: RE Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage students in exploring a variety of religious beliefs, practices, and ethical considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality RE lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that promotes understanding and respect for diverse religious traditions and ethical viewpoints.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and outcomes for all students.
• Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related field.
• Experience teaching RE at the secondary school level is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to the values of diversity, inclusion, and promoting mutual respect.
