Academics LTD are currently working with this fantastic Primary school to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with children with SEN. Applications would be most welcome from graduates who are ready to start a career in education or a person with a Level 3 childcare qualification.
Full training will be provided however experience working in a Primary school would be advantageous. You will need to have some experience working with children, for example tutoring, baby sitting or youth work. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working with children, parents, teachers and occupational therapists.
You will be working with a range of children with SEN and supporting in different classes on where required. You will be working closely with the SENCo (SEN Coordinator) to help deliver educational health plans. This would be the perfect role for someone is ready to start a career as a Primary teacher or educational psychologist.
