Logistics Support Operator

- Acting as the first point of contact for the reporting system
- Ensuring that tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
Accountabilities
- Receive invoice data (Excel), perform initial quality checks on the data, and process it accordingly into a Business Intelligence (BI) tool.
- Act as the key contact between the European Logistics & Order Management team and the Accounts Payable team.
- Responsible for maintaining the team's procurement management solution tool (ARIBA), including creating purchase orders (POs) and supporting queries.
- Support the process of creating budgets.
- Take initiative either as a lead or in a supporting role in projects.
- Provide training on the non-conformity system to CP Logistics users and, if needed, to external partners.
- Coordinate the non-conformity system, ensuring that issues are managed and corrective actions are taken in a timely manner
- Relevant experience in logistics/customer service operations and/or accounts payable experience.
- International experience working with large multinational organizations is a benefit.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a complex, cross-functional business environment.
- Knowledge of process in logistics is a benefit (e.g. warehousing, transport, order management etc.) but not necessary.
- Demonstrated sense of urgency, balanced approach, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
The successful candidate should be prepared to handle routine invoice processing, data entry, and other recurring administrative duties in addition to the more complex aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate should possess a combination of technical skills, process knowledge, and the ability to manage both complex and repetitive tasks efficiently, while maintaining a strong attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset.
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree or similar in a commercial/business or technical subject is desired but not strictly necessary.
- Language Skills:
• Fluency in English, both oral and written, is mandatory.
• Proficiency in additional languages would be considered an asset.
The successful candidate must possess good communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Additionally, expertise in supplier management and familiarity with transportation regulations, particularly those related to dangerous goods, would be highly valued in this role
