SEN Teaching Assistant

The Job…

Academics are currently looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a lovely large SEN school in the North Staffordshire area. The role is working with Primary and Secondary aged SEN pupils, with a wide range of disabilities and additional needs, including MLD, autism ASC, and Speech and Communication needs.

You'll Be…

• A Teaching Assistant or Support Worker with experience of children with a disability or SEN
• Skilled in engaging children with SEND
• Confident carrying out personal care
• Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent communication skills
• Promote happiness, self-reliance and encourage positive interactions
