The Client Our client is a leading community healthcare provider specializing in Dermatology services for patients referred from GP services and NHS Trusts.
Role: Dermatology Consultant
Location: Sheffield
Days available: Monday-Friday
Hours: 0900-1800 (or similar)
Rate: £132.50
The Role
- Provide high-quality clinical care to adult patients in the community Dermatology service.
- Diagnose and treat conditions like acne, psoriasis, and eczema.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on diagnoses.
- Prescribe medications, recommend therapies, and perform minor procedures like cryotherapy.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review cases and treatment outcomes.
The Candidate
- Medical Degree (MBBS/MBChB or equivalent) and GMC registration.
- Dermatology Diploma.
- Up-to-date Mandatory Training.
- Experience diagnosing and treating Dermatology conditions in a healthcare setting.
- Understanding of Dermatological conditions and evidence-based practices.
