Shire Healthcare are recruiting for an Educational Psychologist to join an educational setting in Worcestershire.

Role snapshot:

The candidate appointed will work within an MDT and provide psychological assessments to children in a school setting. They will develop individualised support, providing direct and indirect therapy. The post holder will also train other professionals within the service.

The successful candidate will have a positive / flexible approach, and acknowledge the importance of collaboration with families, colleagues, clinicians and the students themselves.

Contract type – Permanent

Hours – up to 3 days per week , part-time

Salary - £50,000 - £65,000 FTE

Experience required:

Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist along with a minimum of 2 years experience working with children and young people. An understanding of masking and school-related trauma is essential.
