My client a public sector organisation in the Nottinghamshire area are looking for a Quantity Surveyor for an initial period of 6 months.

Purpose of the role:
To provide a comprehensive Quantity Surveying service to include the procurement and financial management of projects undertaken by the Housing Repairs and Assets team.

Preparation of all necessary documents for the procurement and management of projects using different forms and types of contract and different procurement routes such as the use of Framework Agreements.

Administer the process of contractor procurement including the preparation of tender documents, administration of the tendering and procurement process (in conjunction with any Shared Procurement Unit used by the Council at the time) formalisation of contracts, contract monitoring, financial management and agreement of final accounts.
