Air Conditioning Engineer – Norwich

We are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well established company.

Due to a sustainable increase of workload, we are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established Air Conditioning team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a well-established company helping to deliver Planned Preventative maintenance, Servicing and Installation projects, working in various sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Defence and Research, servicing clients’ requirements throughout the Eastern Region and neighbouring counties.

Reporting directly to the Air Conditioning Manager, the successful candidate will liaise directly with our clients and must ensure they always represent the business in a proud and professional manner.

The successful candidate will ideally have at least 3 years’ experience after completion of apprenticeship including modifying, fault finding, and installing different types of Air Con systems in both commercial and industrial environments.

Contracted hours of work are Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 15:30 hrs with occasional weekend working and overtime as required by the company. There may also be a requirement to work away on occasions.

Terms and Conditions including Wage Rates and annual leave will be in line with the BESA National Agreement.

A fully expensed Company Vehicle will also be provided for work use. You must be able to work individually and as part of a team and without supervision on occasions, to use your own initiative and demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of the H&S requirements. Paperwork must be produced correctly and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out the Installation, service, and repair to a variety of Air Conditioning systems and installations such as Split, Multi Split, VRV/VRF, Chillers and Vent Systems.

Key Skills & Knowledge

  • FGAS 2079 - (Essential)
  • CSCS/ECS card – Eligibility essential - (Already holds preferable, but training can be provided)
  • Knowledge & experience of the industrial and commercial industry
  • IPAF and PASMA – (Desirable)
  • Fire Aid – (Desirable but training can be given)
  • Full driving licence – (Essential)
