Associate Structural Engineer, Exeter Salary up £58,000 excellent benefits package.

We are working with an award winning property consultancy, inspiring professional multi-disciplined services to a range of public and private sector clients to secure an Associate Structural Engineer.

Providing expertise across a full range of design and construction management, including Engineering, Architecture and building maintenance and currently have an opportunity for an Associate Structural Engineer to join our Exeter based team.

As an experienced Associate Structural Engineer You will be expected to:

• Completing planned work programmes and projects to timeframes and with budget.
• Managing client needs, defining project technical specifications, manage costs, fees and commercial requirement and ensure that projects are delivered to client satisfaction.
• Assisting the relevant director in managing engineering resources across the Structural Engineering team.
• Managing the implementation of best practice in the Structural Engineering team.
• Leading major projects ensuring that they are delivered to the specification.
• Preparing designs, calculations, specifications, drawing and carrying out risk assessments for improvement, refurbishment and new building schemes.
• Preparing schedules of dilapidations, improvement scheme, drawings and specifications, structural surveys, and insurance reinstatement schemes.

TheSuccessful Associate Structural Engineer will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a Structural Engineering related discipline
• Professional membership of the Institute of Structural Engineers and be working or prepared to work towards Chartered status
• Holds a current site card or is prepared to immediately attain
• Conversant with Health and Safety legislation.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
