Our client are a large organisation with premisies/workshops all across the world. My client build and modify Machine tools that are used in a number of environments across the world. Due to an ever increasing work load they are looking for a Machine Tool fitter on a permanent basis.
The Job:
·Build sub-assemblies from component level following schematics.
·Work to tight tolerances
·Working on complex machine builds
·Maintenance of refurb of heavy machinery
·Working experience of hydraulics and pneumatics would be an advantage.
·Confident with bearings, gears, and machine alignment
. able to machine parts using lathes, mills and grinders.
About you:
·Mechanical trained with experience of machine build/assembly
·Experience of multi axis precision machinery
·Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
·Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items.
·Good all-round mechanical assembler with a confident understanding of machine tools
