They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Data Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. - Managing Data Ingestion: Overseeing the data ingestion process through various APIs to ensure seamless data integration.
- Utilizing Microsoft Azure: Employing the robust features of the Microsoft Azure platform for effective data handling and storage.
- Curating Data with SQL: Using advanced SQL querying to curate and structure data for analytics and reporting purposes.
- Collaborating with End Users: Engaging with end users to understand their data requirements, ensuring that datasets are accurately made available in Databricks, SQL, and PowerBI environments.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- API Understanding: Strong experience in managing and integrating data through APIs.
- Proficiency in JSON: Expertise in handling and manipulating JSON data formats.
- Advanced SQL Skills: Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries for data curation.
- Database Architecture Knowledge: Understanding of database architecture and data warehousing principles.
- Azure Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure platform, including data services and tools.
