For an impressive capital equipment manufacturer and market leader in Leicestershire (aerospace), we are recruiting a Head of Operations to drive a growth agenda.

Main responsibilities:

• Working closely with the Managing Director and as part of the senior leadership team, the Head of Operations will be accountable for the optimum efficiency of the operations, to ensure second-to-none service delivery.
• With responsibility from receipt of order to machine despatch, you will oversee Manufacturing, ensuring OTIF, high quality and safety standards are met.
• Providing strong leadership to Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Applications and Contracts, you will drive a culture of accountability and ownership, motivating your teams to achieve excellence performance and to support change and continuous improvement.

The candidate profile:

• You have gained senior operations management experience in bespoke manufacturing sites, putting structures and processes in an agile and fast-growing SME, with a focus on quality and on time delivery.
• As Head of Operations, Operations Director or General Manager, you thrive on motivating teams to improve processes collectively through Continuous Improvement.
• A natural leader, you are not afraid to challenge the status quo, and you are driven by engaging and coaching high-performing and cohesive teams to be their best.
