Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client, to recruit a 

B2B Business Development Manager / Laundry Equipment Industry

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of Laundry Equipment, Industrial Washing Machines, Dryers, Turners, Folders, which they sell to the laundry and garment processing sector, for example, Hotels, Hospitals etc….. They are looking for a motivated, professional Business Development Manager with industry knowledge and experience.

The successful candidate will cover the South of England, looking after existing customers and targeting new business.

Our client, has an excellent reputation for providing quality products and added value services, like training, design and technical support. They have excellent marketing material, and an excellent internal sales support team, to help the appointed candidate achieve success in this role, by supporting them and offering a first-class service to their customers.

The successful candidate doesn’t need technical knowledge, this role will not include the planning of installations. It is someone to forge great relationships with potential buyers, showcase the product range and services.

Responsibilities:

  • To promote laundry equipment products to buyers and end users in the South of England
  • Splitting your time between effective account management (maximising the opportunity for further orders) and targeting new business
  • Build excellent relationships with existing customers
  • Network via events, referrals, existing contacts, social media, etc… to open new doors and win new business.
  • Produce professional quotes and sell the added benefits of the business.
  • Manage your own diary, making appointments and calls to generate orders.
  • Work remotely from a home office, providing weekly sales reports to the sales director.
  • Willingness to travel to head office from time to time and support various exhibitions around the UK.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years previous experience in a similar role within the laundry equipment / garment processing industry.
  • Have a good understanding the products we sell and able to support clients with enquiries.
  • UK Driving License
  • Willingness to travel for work (covering South of England)
  • Willingness to travel up to Head Office in Yorkshire from time to time for team meetings, and travel to exhibitions etc…
  • Our client is looking for a self-motivated team player who is confident, professional, has a friendly personality, is well presented and personable.

Package:

  • £40k negotiable dependant on experience
