Are you an aspiring Mechanical Design Engineer with machinery design/ manufacturing background or experience designing special purpose machinery looking for the opportunity to learn and progress within a role where each day is never the same, developing a variety of machinery for an international business?

This growing company specialise in the design, build and installation of bespoke factory automation systems, control systems and more. Established in 2002, boasting a turnover of over £25 million and rapid team growth, this business is now looking for a new mechanical design engineer to be the go to person for their newest contract.

On offer is an opportunity to join the design team of a manufacturing company where you will be designing bespoke special purpose packaging machinery. You will be given specifications from the sales department, completing the initial design of the parts, attending project review meetings, creating final designs, and producing bills of materials, following the entire design process from start to finish. This role will also require you to travel to customer sites across the UK, Ireland, Canada and USA, this will all be compensated.

This role would suit an aspiring Mechanical Design Engineer with machinery design/ manufacturing background or experience designing special purpose machinery that is looking to progress within a growing company.

* 3D CAD drawing in Auto Desk Inventor
* See projects from start to completion
* Worldwide travel
* Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-2pm
