SEN Teaching Assistant role. Monday to Friday 8.30 - 3.30pm

Hours are 9am to 1pm or 1pm to 3.30pm Monday to Friday 

Sennen Education are recruiting for a part time SEND teaching assistant to join a excellent secondary school in Trafford. The role will be supporting children with SEND in year Reception and Year 6. The children have Autism and Social Emotional Mentel Health. You would be joining a team whose aim is to provide the best educational, care and transition pathways for children and young people who experience difficulties with learning. The post is ongoing for a full academic year subject to the relevant checks being completed.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location - Trafford

Position - SEN Teaching Assistant Type of work - Teaching Support

Start date - September 2024

Contract type - Temporary Full time, potentially becoming permanent from July.

Rate of pay up to - £110 per day

Hours - 8:30 am - 3.30 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference)

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training)

Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs.

You will also need to be up to date with Keeping Children Safe in Education or be willing to undertake additional training

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
