**Mechanical Assembly Fitter **

3-month contract initially

Rate: £22.00-£25.00p/h DOE Limited or Umbrella (Outside IR35)

Our Client

I am working with a key client who are a heavy plant engineering and construction company, based out Yorkshire. We are recruiting for Mechanical Fitters on a key customer site for a minimum of three-month contract, to assist on the upgrade of key capital project.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Working on an array of equipment such as gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, drives and motors etc, and including new walkways, gantries and hand railing etc

• Liaise with other teams and key stakeholders

• Strong technical understanding to ensure mechanical specifications are met

• Report any snagging issues to Site Supervisor

• Reading from mechanical assembly drawings

The Successful Candidate:

• Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for health, safety and quality

• Site Safety passport would be beneficial

• Ideally apprentice trained- NVQL3 Mechanical Engineering

• A strong team player

• Outside IR35- Limited co. contractors
