Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting for an experienced Purchaser to join our well established client. 

Duties: 

• The role reports directly to the head of operations and controls of all aspects of the primary supply chain.
• Daily processing of quotations, purchase orders, quality, and stock records.
• Follow up of purchase orders to ensure that the goods or services are delivered on time.
• Recording supplier contracts and vetting suppliers to ensure they comply with the requirements of the business.
• Seeking new supplier relationships and testing the competitiveness of incumbents regularly.
• Ensuring that best value for products and services is obtained.
• Proactive involvement in efficiency reviews and creating investment proposals where necessary.

Requirements: 

• Excellent communication skills. 
• Experience of working within a team.
• Experience working within a similar role in the Engineering sector. 
• Basic Excel proficiency.

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 Per Annum. 

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm. 

This is a Full time, Permanent position.
